Motorola has announced updates to enable 5G for the Edge 30 Ultra and Fusion India. The company joins other companies such as Samsung and Apple which are currently enabling 5G services on their eligible devices.
The update was rolled a out few days ago and is expected to hit nine more smartphones by the first week of November. The update will be effective across the SA on Reliance Jio and NSA on Airtel and Vi modes on Motorola smartphones for users to enjoy the 5G experience.
In a press note the Executive Director of Motorola Asia Pacific, Mr. Prashanth Mani said ;
“Motorola 5G smartphones in India, across categories, have hardware support for 11 to 13 5G bands including all 8 Sub 6 GHz 5G bands that have been announced in India. We have already started the roll-out of OTA software updates for enabling 5G across both SA (Reliance Jio) and NSA (Airtel & Vi) 5G modes, simultaneously on Motorola devices, enabling consumers to experience seamless 5G across operators.
Our updates on the recently launched Motorola edge 30 ultra and edge 30 fusion have already been rolled out and other Motorola 5G devices will be receiving the updates in subsequent weeks, targeting completion by the first week of November 2022,”
